The Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan (hereinafter referred to as the EPA) organizes the "Environmental Knowledge Contest" in order to promote government policies and implement environmental education. Through lively, interesting and stimulating competitions, the public is attracted to actively participate and convey correct environmental knowledge. Combining with the theme of "Green Life for All" this year, the scope of the competition is based on the three environmental friendly actions of "Using Locally", "Reserving Resources" and "Environmental Protection", current affairs policies and the content of videos designated by the "Environmental Education Lifelong Learning Network". It is all-encompassing and closely related to daily life. Through the method of entertaining and teaching, let the contestants across the country quickly touch the knowledge of environmental protection because of the environmental knowledge competition, and then develop the responsibility and commitment to the environment, and put them into action, so that the concept of environmental protection can be extended to every member of the society corner.
The top 5 representatives of each group (national group, junior high school group, high school vocational group, and social group) from each municipality and county (city) will participate in the final. The competition is divided into two stages: knockout round and sudden death round. The top 50% of the scores of each group will enter the sudden death competition. The sudden death competition will answer the questions by raising cards. If the top 5 rankings cannot be determined, it will be determined by "PK competition". A total of 20 winners will be selected from the 4 groups. This project is responsible for inviting experts and scholars to assist in the proposition and review of competition topics, and planning the main venue, 4 competition venues, and dining areas on the day of the finals. There are 1,067 participants. The participants are responsible for the task of environmental seeds, promoting environmental knowledge to every corner of Taiwan, and calling on the public to turn knowledge into the power of action, bring this correct environmental protection knowledge to classmates, friends and family, and turn knowledge into action, from Food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, entertainment, shopping and other life-oriented implementation of "green life". And spread to everyone around to create a better sustainable home.
